The "A" in A-Ballet is derived from Aliya, one of our founders, whose name signifies "Heavenly." As "Heavenly Ballet," we dance for Jesus and seek to share love, hope, and beauty through our original ballet productions, designed to touch and transform the hearts of our audience.
We believe that ballet is more than just dance—it is a powerful medium that can soften even the stoniest of hearts. A-Ballet was founded by the husband-and-wife team of Dmitry Timofeev and Aliya Tanykpayeva. Aliya is a world-renowned ballet star who has been passionate about dance since childhood. Her journey from the desert steppes of Kazakhstan to the most prestigious theaters in the world is a testament to her talent, dedication, and spirit. She has performed in hundreds of ballet productions and worked with the most respected teachers and choreographers in the industry. Now, Aliya brings her extensive experience and deep love for ballet to A-Ballet, with a vision to make the art form accessible and impactful for all.
Dmitry Timofeev's love for the stage began early in his life, growing up amidst theater productions and world-class ballets. His journey through the world of theater and ballet has equipped him with a wealth of knowledge and experience, allowing him to understand the power of storytelling through performance art. After years of searching for a deeper purpose, he found it in A-Ballet—a place where faith and love guide the creation of something entirely new, with the goal of changing the world for the better.
Together, Dmitry and Aliya are building a ballet company from the ground up, founded on their shared values and unwavering commitment to excellence.
